Russia Visa Guide for Pakistanis 2026

Pakistani citizens need an in-person embassy visa for Russia — here’s the full process, required invitation letter, and documents for 2026.

Do Pakistani Citizens Need a Visa for Russia?

Yes. Pakistani passport holders must obtain a visa before travelling to Russia, for tourism, business, study, or family visits. Pakistan is not currently eligible for Russia’s e-Visa scheme, so the application must be submitted in person at the Russian Embassy or an authorised visa centre in Pakistan.

Good to know: Every Russian visa application requires an official invitation (a tourist voucher, business invitation, or university letter, depending on your purpose). We help arrange this as part of your application if you don’t already have one.

Documents You’ll Need
